Jeannette lived, and her husband Jonathan still lives, in downtown Holland. Jonathan, just before Jeannette’s diagnosis in 2019, earned his real estate sales license and joined with Jeannette in making her last few years in real estate some of her most successful. After Jeannette’s death in October of 2022, Jonathan went on to earn his broker’s license and now serves as the broker/owner of Brownson Properties.
Jonathan and Jeannette’s three grown children (and now two grandchildren) live in various parts of the country, but still enjoy returning to Holland whenever they have the opportunity. Jeannette believed that “we live in a lovely community with so many assets, cultural diversity, and opportunities.” She “would have loved to help you find your home here, or help someone else find your home!” However, she also knew that she was not the only realtor who could serve her clients well.
Call Brownson Properties at 616-886-1815. Brownson Properties no longer buys or sells homes. Instead we passionately pursue Jeannette’s legacy of building beloved communities (BBC). We BBC with the JBBBC memorial fund. Our donor advised fund at the Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland provides a 50% match to any Realtor who donates at least $100 to a local nonprofit their client designates. We BBC with Jeannette’s BBC house located at 181 W. 16th. Finally we BBC with the Jonathan@BBCandME Substack column.
